ABOUT MADELEINE
Madeleine Brownrigg was born in Sainte-Agathe des Monts, Québec, and has always been a family-oriented person. Loves nature and beautiful animals. She paints innocent, whimsical art with an impressionist style and wants to give joy through her art. She also wants to raise awareness of endangered species by expressing their fragile beauty.
She wishes to express feelings of sadness, happiness, and love. Madeleine is focusing on painting what inspires her, drawing inspiration from emotional expressions. She took drawing at Algonquin College and a course at the Ottawa School of Art. She participated in four art exhibits in the Ottawa area, and is the founder of Light My Art Trademark. She is hoping to build a new site and partnerships in the art community.
Married was married for 48 years, and happy to have two healthy grown children and three grand-children. Madeleine works full time as a consultant to stay active.
When I paint, I get immersed in the subject and the image will change along the way. The art I create doesn’t have to look perfect, it just has to feel right.
